Dana has a Master of Education in Counselling from the University of Ottawa. She is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and a professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
Her counselling style is often described as direct, down to earth and insightful. Dana often uses humour in her sessions, which she believes can be very healing.
Dana’s areas of professional expertise include individual counselling with adults dealing with issues such as relationships, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, confidence, stress and burnout. In addition to her private practice, Dana works full time as the Team Leader of a mental health support program at Carleton University called “From Intention to Action.” In this role she meets clients for counselling and psychotherapy, and oversees and coordinates the program.
